Pressure Washer Guide — Moldwasher
The pressure washer is your starter tool and primary workhorse for 70% of Moldwasher missions. Mastering wide spray versus precise stream modes separates smooth runs from regrowth frustration.
Spray Modes
Left-click wide spray covers open areas fast—fridge shelves, floor mold, wall patches, and bowl interiors. Right-click precise stream targets stickers, narrow gaps, faucet edges, and single-pixel mold that wide spray misses.
Regrowth happens when precise stream targets are ignored. If mold keeps spreading, switch to precise mode and cut the living edge before wide sweeping.
Upgrade Priorities
Early upgrades: pressure and radius on the starter washer. Pressure helps stubborn dirt; radius reduces time on large floors. Stop upgrading when the leaf blower appears on the map—buy the new tool instead unless you have surplus FreshCash.
Late game: fully upgrading the washer contributes to For Science and Do You Feel Like a Hero Yet achievements.
When Water Stops Working
Switch away from the washer when: objects need moving (leaf blower), hard crust blocks progress (pickaxe), or burn triggers appear (flamethrower). Continuing to spray water produces zero progress and feels like a bug—it's actually the game asking for a different tool.
